Teatro alla Scala is a large opera house that was constructed on the site of Santa Maria della Scala, an old church. In 1943, this opera house was vandalized, which was later rebuilt although tried to give original touch. Teatro alla Scala highlights a theatre museum, which is believed to have been founded in 1913. This opera house represents a fine collection of sculpture, paintings and ceramics, and also La Scala's Ballet School.
