History has witnessed that the Rotonda della Besana that the building was used for various purposes. Originally, it was designed by Francesco Raffagno. Thousands of people got buried in the crypts under the arcades. Rotonda della Besana has accommodated patients with infectious diseases, become the hospital laundry and is now used for many important, temporary exhibitions.
